Georgeanna C. Spinello

Georgeanna Catherine Spinello, 83, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024. She was born on Feb. 22, 1941, in Pittsburgh, to the late William and Adeline (Bianconi) Spinello. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her companion, Anthony Di Marinis. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Marckisotto of Export and Madeline Stitch (John) of North Huntingdon; two nieces, Darlene Cramer (Matt) and Lisa Nese (Ross); three great-nephews, Matt Nese (Courtney), Scott Nese (April), and Carson Cramer; and great-niece, Madison Cramer. Georgeanna was the owner of The Buttercup Floral and Gift Shoppe and was known as one of the most creative floral designers in the area. She studied and obtained her Masters Degree in floral design from Penn State University. Georgeanna was a core instructor in floral design at Phipps Conservatory from 1990 to 2010. She was deeply involved with her community and served on several boards, including MECDC. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at BASH-NIED-JOBE FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Murrysville. Entombment will follow at the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
