Georgette then taught in public and private schools in the Des Moines metro area. She also obtained her realtor license. Georgette worked for Continental Western Insurance Company, J.C. Penney, and Westover Baptist Church. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Georgette is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert V.; son, Robert D.; daughter, Patty Kurth; grandsons, Todd Kurth (Kendra) and Brian Kurth (Tasha); great-grandchildren, Claira and Lea; special nephew, Scott Droessler; special niece, Regina Smith; as well as other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and her son, Daniel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to ARL-Iowa.
