Georgia Huling Obituary
Georgia Huling, born on January 6, 1936, was the daughter of the late George & Mauline Morgan of Petros, TN. She passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, with her family by her side, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith and family that will continue for generations. Today we celebrate a life beautifully lived and deeply cherished.
Georgia was married to the love of her life, Donavan “John” Huling for 48 devoted years. Together they built a strong and loving family foundation.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donovan, along with many dear sisters and treasured family members.
She leaves behind a remarkable legacy through her six children, Mary and husband Robert Lowe, George and wife Cindy Huling, Nora Stevens, Rose and husband Daniel Chesney, John and wife Gloria Huling, and Loetha “Lofi” Cunningham.
She also leaves behind sisters, Bonnie Duncan, Edith Cox, and Brother Ernest Morgan all from Petros, TN.
Georgia’s family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She was blessed with 28 Grandchildren, 71 Great Grandchildren and 26 Great Great Grandchildren, as every single one of her family members treasured each visit.
Georgia had a special love for yard sales and was always excited for the annual 127 yard sale where she and her husband made treasured memories searching for unique and special finds. She also loved sharing stories of her childhood, reminiscing about growing up with her siblings, and recalling memories of her children when they were young.
Georgia was loved by everyone who met her. Her warmth, storytelling spirit, and devotion to family left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be greatly missed by each and every person whose life she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. We love you Momma and look forward to seeing you again.
The family will have a graveside service, Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 1pm cst 2 pm est at the Carpenter Cemetery, Nydeck Road, Robbins, TN, with Bro. Kale Davidson officiating.
