Georgia Kaye Barnes Emry Obituary
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Riverside Chapel located in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the Riverside Chapel. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY she was born April 24, 1943 the daughter of the late George W. Barnes and Nina Kathleen Williams Barnes. She was an entrepreneur having been involved in bookkeeping, restaurants, and real estate/property management. She was a member and past president of the Newcomers Club of Hopkinsville.
Survivors include her sons: Leslie Todd Emry of Hopkinsville, KY; Ronald Edwin (Samantha) Emry of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister: Nina Carol Barnes (Leon) DePalma of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother: Timothy David (Vicky) Barnes of Hopkinsville, KY; her granddaughter: Star Marie Emry of Edmond, OK, and various cousins and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International or JDRF (The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
