Mrs. Georgia B. Reese, 92, of Railroad Street, Camak, GA went to be with her loving Savior January 12, 2024.
Georgia B. was born in Glascock County and was the daughter of the late George Thigpen and the late Mary Lou Hobbs Thigpen. She was a homemaker and worked at Rachel's Café and Court Square for many years. She lived in Warren County most of her life. Georgia B. loved reading her bible, listening to Gospel Music and spending time with her family. She was a member of Camak Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Reese.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45am, Tuesday, January 16th at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 11am at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bryant Neal officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Reese, Noah Reese and Derrell Usry.
Survivors include her son, Donnie Reese (Betty Lane) of Norwood; daughters, Kathy Usry (Darrell) of Gibson and Linda Daniel of Thomson; grandchildren, Melissa McDonald (Jimmy), Tommy Reese (Sheryl), Russ Usry (Samantha), Dena Daniel and Krista Matthews (Wade); great grandchildren, Noah, Delany, Georgia, Roy, James, Zoey, Daniel, Katelyn (Porter), Ashleigh (Levi), Jackson, Emily and Abbi; one great great grandchild, Ryley; and a sister, Agnes Garner.
