Georgia Mae Tail "Waunsila Win" was born on February 5, 1935 in Porcupine, SD to Jackson and Helen (Young Bear) Tail. Georgia made her journey to the Spirit World on February 13, 2023 at the Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home near Pine Ridge, SD.
Georgia is survived by her daughters, Gloria No Neck, Karen Red Elk, Sonya DuBray, Erna Shepard, Bonita Andrews, and Eva Mesteth; son, Donnie Mesteth, Sr.; brother, Eli Tail; and hunka sons, Harold Salway and Lon McWhorter.
Georgia was preceded in death by her father, Jackson Tail; mother, Helen (Young Bear) Tail; daughters, Darmalee Tail and Mona Mesteth; sons, Tyrone Mesteth, Sr., Jeffrey Tail, Matthew Mesteth, Sr., Dean Andrews, Sr., and Darren Brings Plenty; grandchildren, Kylen Tyrone Shangreaux, Harold Brown Bull, Jr., Eric Brown Bull, Kyle "Gizz" Mesteth, Karen Mesteth Blue Bird, Tyrone Mesteth, Jr., Michael Mesteth, Sam Bear Robe, Andrew Bear Robe, Jr., Tessie Bear Robe, Mercedes Pourier, Shilo Pourier, Elias & Eternity Flying Horse, Dean Andrews, Jr., and Lolita Mesteth; brothers, Aldelbert Tail, Sr. and Earl Tail, Sr.; and sisters, Zona Tail-Glaze and Pauline Tail.
