Georgia M. Ditch Zimmerman, born on January 17, 1931, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025.
She was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Georgia had a distinguished career as a bank manager until retiring, where she was known for her dedication and leadership. In her free time, she loved to knit and bake, and she was especially known for making many beautiful wedding cakes.
She is proceeded and death by her son, Terry R. Chitwood, and is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lowrance of Tucson Arizona
Georgia also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Sean Toney, Heather Canady, both of Oklahoma. Sharon (Donnie) Peterson, Michelle (Scot) Bishop, Stacey McGrew and Justin Schwarz, all of Kansas
Additionally she is survived by nine great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Georgia will be laid to rest next to her son in Memorial Park Cemetery in Hutchinson, Kansas.
