Geraine Ann Stocker (Povic), passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2025. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend who brought joy and love to her family and friends.

She was born in San Francisco, California on January 7th, 1944 and married her loving and devoted husband, Vernon Stocker, in 1963. As a military wife, she traveled all over and eventually settled in Williamsburg, Virginia. In her 30s, she went back to school and gained a degree in Accounting, and worked for several years in that capacity. She was most passionate about her dogs – both her own dogs and the rescue organizations she volunteered for, including the Williamsburg Animal Shelter and the Mid-Atlantic English Sprinter Spaniel Rescue (MAESSR).

She is survived by her husband, Vernon D. Stocker; and her children, Kevin Stocker and Katherine Shea, and grandchildren Garrett Stocker, Claire Shea, Caitlin Shea, and Caroline Shea. Geraine had a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories. She will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A private family service will be held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or MAESSR in her memory.
