Scott Kenney, 29, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away on March 4, 2026. Born on December 11, 1996, in Williamsburg, Scott spent his life in the community he loved, surrounded by family, friends, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

Scott was a proud high school graduate and worked in home improvement with Marty Ripley's Home Improvement. He was known as someone who worked hard and took pride in what he did, always willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed.

Outside of work, Scott enjoyed the things that brought him peace and happiness. He loved shooting and building guns with his uncle and friends, fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his friends. Whether it was a quiet day outdoors or simply laughing and sharing stories, Scott treasured the time he spent with the people he cared about most.

Scott will be remembered for his kindness and the genuine way he connected with others. Those who knew him best often spoke of his big heart and the warmth he carried with him. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and loyalty to those around him, and his memory will live on in the many lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kenney (August 22, 2022), and a best friend, Jarod Walker (May 14, 2021).

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Cindy Tennis, and her partner, Jason Manas; his grandparents, Diana Tennis, Jerald Tennis, Dennis Kenney, Denise Kenney, and Linda Daugherty; his uncle, Doug Tennis; his cousin, Madison Tennis; and many other extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Scott will be remembered as someone who truly cared for others - a man with a huge heart and a great soul. His love, laughter, and spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
