Gerald 'Jerry' Ashbaugh Obituary Gerald Gordon Ashbaugh was born to life on May 4th, 1937 and born to eternal life at the age of 87 on April 14th, 2025.
Jerry is survived by his wife Joan (Michalowski) of 64 years, daughter Lynn Theroux, sons Bruce and Daryl. Grandpa to Nick, Brandon, Dylon and Great Grandpa to Natalie and Blake Theroux. Brother to Donald (Karen) Ashbaugh. Preceded in death by his brother Tom, sister-in-law Kathleen, son-in-law Larry Theroux and parents Gordon and Viola (Erna). Jerry is further survived by many other family and friends.
Jerry retired from Wisconsin Electric at the age of 55 after working from 1960-1993. Jerry was a self described sports nut and it showed in his overwhelming support of the Oak Creek High School athletic programs. Sometimes affectionately known as 'Mr. Oak Creek' you can always find him in the Oak Creek community somewhere, somehow supporting his community. Jerry was a proud member of the Oak Creek Lions Club where his community involvement was never in question.
The family is grateful to all the friends and family for the support that was given along the way. A special thank you to Jerry's incredible providers from VITAS Healthcare of Southeastern Wisconsin and his personal caregivers, Bethany, Adriana and Shareka.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT DONATIONS BE MADE TO THE OAK CREEK LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP FUND OR MEMORIALS TO THE FAMILY.
