Judith I. Aviles

Judith Aviles Obituary Judith "Judy" Ivette Aviles was born on March 9, 1952 in Humacao, Puerto Rico; and passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025. Raised in the Bronx, New York until she was married and became a Navy wife. Judy was a homemaker for 24 years, raising 4 children; she traveled and lived all over the globe including Japan for 6 years. In 1999, after her divorce, Judy relocated back to Zion, IL where she would be closer to her sister, and began teaching English to adults and found a career that she was passionate about. In 2007 she graduated from IL State University with a bachelors degree and become an elementary teacher. In her later years after retirement Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Judy will be remembered in our hearts along with everyone who experienced her kind and animated soul. She is survived by her children, Israel Aviles of East Troy, WI; Cristian Aviles of Zion, IL; and Ivette Aviles of Winthrop Harbor, IL; along with 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
