Gerald A. "Tony" Baker Jr.

Gerald A. "Tony" Baker, Jr., 53, of Keyser, WV, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Cumberland Healthcare Center, Cumberland, MD.
Born on June 27, 1972 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Donna Mae (Evans) Vogel of Keyser and the late Gerald A. Baker, Sr. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Angilique Vivan Vogel and his god parents, Dale Andrew Fertig and Joan Smith.
Tony was a 1990 graduate of Keyser High School and was formerly employed in the maintenance department at Potomac Valley Hospital. He attended the Bonnieview Apostolic Chapel in Keyser and was an avid Washington Redskins fan, before the team became the Commanders.
Surviving, in addition to his mother is his son, Matthew Miller of Keyser; a grandson; an aunt, Loretta (Evans) West and husband Bill; nephews, Zach and Brady "Andy" Bowen and a cousin, Warren Bush.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or services.
The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, is in charge of the arrangements.
The family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the Smith Funeral Home, 85 S. Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 to assist in defraying final expenses.
