Gerald was born on July 6, 1930 and passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Gerald was a resident of Oconto, Wisconsin at the time of passing. Being a military family they lived and attended schools all over the U.S. and five years in Europe where they received a worldly education from travel. Gerald R. Beekman Colonel Gerald R. Beekman U.S. Army retired died on December 31, 2017. Visitation will continue from 9 to 11 AM Friday, January 5 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 AM Friday at the church with the Rev. Bob Karuhn officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery with Military Rites by all Oconto Veteran organizations.
