Gerald Denome

Gerald "Jerry" Denome, age 90, of Buena Vista Township, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Saginaw. The son of Francis and Ann (Utitus) Denome, Gerald was born on April 10, 1935, in River Rouge, Michigan. He married Marie Leahy on June 1, 1974, and together they shared nearly 50 years of marriage until Marie preceded him in death in October of 2022.
Jerry graduated from Holy Family High School in 1953. He went on to work with General Motors for 32 years and was an active Union member. He also proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. Jerry loved fishing, playing softball, coaching girls' high school softball, and he and Marie greatly enjoyed traveling together whenever they could.
Jerry is survived by his children, Gerald D. Denome, Robert T. Denome, and Michael J. Denome; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie Denome, his parents, siblings, Anna Rose, Robert, Edward, and Donald.
Services will be held privately for Jerry's family. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.
