Gerald "Jerry" M. DeVault, 86, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with family on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Legacy
He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandpop, great grandpop, brother, uncle, and friend. He served proudly for the United States Army for over 22 years. Gerry enjoyed hunting, traveling in his camper with Helen, going on cruises, watching Nascar, and going to car shows. He was a true motorhead, anything dealing with cars or trucks spiked his interest.
Family
He is the beloved husband of 35 wonderful years to Helen A. DeVault (nee Sherwood); Devoted father of James (Pam), Donald (Caroline), Michael (Toni), and Tina (Jeff). Grandpop to William, Sean, Kaitlynn, Tatiana, Andrew, Cheyenne, Mickilynn, Rory, Pip. Abigail, and Damien. Great grandpop to Julianna, Trinity, Spencer, Olivia, and Emily. Dear brother to Patricia, Gladys, Carla, and Doris. Predeceased by his parents Verna and Willard DeVault and siblings Bill, Charles, and Lawrence. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, September 24th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - (Washington Township Location), 573 Egg Harbor Road Sewell, NJ. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation -www.garysinisefoundation.org.
