In Loving Memory of Samantha DeVault
Early on October 30th, our hearts were broken as we said goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Samantha (59) was born on May 21, 1966, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and incredible strength.
She leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Robert DeVault, and their four children — Jacob (39), Adam (34), Hannah (30), and little Aliyah (8) — who were her greatest pride and joy. She was also the proud and loving grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren: Andrew (20), Isaac (16), Nevaeh (14), Rhylie (6), Amiya (3), and Emeliyah (2). Her family was her world, and she cherished every hug, every smile, and every moment shared together.
Over the last year and a half, she faced lung and brain cancer with the same courage, grace, and determination that she brought to everything in her life. Even on the hardest days, she never stopped caring for others, never stopped smiling, never stopped loving deeply, and never stopped fighting!
She will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, her laughter that could light up a room, her love for outdoors and camping , her love for her arts and crafts and the way she made everyone feel like family. Her spirit will live on in her children, her grandchildren, and in all the hearts she touched along the way.
A celebration of her beautiful life will be held on Friday November 7th at Indiana Funeral Care in Greenwood Indiana. Visitation is from 11-1 and the service is from 1-2. There will be no graveside service. In honor of her memory, the family invites friends and loved ones to share stories, smiles, and the love she gave so freely.
Her love was our greatest gift, and it will guide us forever.
