Gerald L. Fris

Gerald L. Fris 83, of Mill Spring, MO, passed away on January 13, 2023. Born April 25, 1939, in Joliet, Illinois, he obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois in 1961. In 1977, Jerry married Frieda (Walz), and were blessed with seven children. Jerry is survived by his wife Frieda; six children, Amanda (Brian) Davis, Veronica Fris, Loretta (Gary) Snider, Teresa (Ray) Shank, Zachary Fris, and Caroline (Matt) Gore; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Claudia Klohr, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred, and son Gregory. Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be truly missed. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 10 am at St. Catherine's of Siena Parish in Piedmont, Missouri.
