Gerald "Jerry" Raymond Fund - age 88 of Polo, MO passed away Sunday afternoon, August 31, 2025, at Excelsior Springs Medical Center in Excelsior Springs, MO. Jerry was born on March 27, 1937, the son of Samuel "Dale" and Dorothy (Ruse) Fund near Goff, KS. He was a 1955 graduate of Goff High School. Following High School he served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He married Glenna Fox on July 26th, 1969, in Nevada, MO. Jerry loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to the timber. He was a man of faith and integrity. Jerry and Glenna had been attending Polo Community Church. He was a hardworker and loved his family. Jerry was always willing to help someone in need.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dale Fund and Donald Fund. He is survived by his wife, Glenna of the home; son, Clint Fund (Paula) of Three Rivers, MI; grandchildren, Anthony Fund (Erin) of Mishawaka, IN, Andrew Fund of Three Rivers, MI, and Abigayle Fund of Three Rivers, MI; brother, Richard Fund of CA; nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Polo Community Church in care of the funeral home. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Bethel Cemetery, south of Polo.
