Jerry Graves, 78, of Omaha, IL passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on January 10, 1947 in Eldorado, IL the son of Dwight Everett and Geneva (Kingston) Graves. Jerry married Shirley Thornton on July 12, 1988 and they shared over 37 years of marriage together. Jerry enjoyed going fishing, hunting, and farming.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Shirley Graves of Omaha, IL; two children, Randy (Amber) Graves of Norris City, IL and Michelle (Eric) Clowdus of Farmington, MO; three stepchildren, Tammy (Gregory) Peach of Knoxville, TN, Jennifer Snavely of Carmi, IL, and Roy Crutchfield of Frankfort, KY; one sibling, Lenore Schulte; grandchildren, Alivia, Cianna, Evan, Taylor, Bailey, Amber, and Keelie; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Hadley, Harlan, Ameeria, and Larry. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George “Bub” Graves.
Funeral services for Jerry Graves, 78, of Omaha will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will follow at Shaw Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
