Gerald Havican Obituary
Gerald Mark Havican age 88, passed away on Thursday, March 7,2024 at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Marquette, MI on September 5, 1935 to Russell and Kathleen (nee: Tonn) Havican. Gerald served his country in the Merchant Marines and United States Navy during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of J & R Fence, which he proudly ran until he was 86 years old. He loved to golf in his free time and he valued the time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Robyn (nee; Hickey) Havican and son, Patrick (Elizabeth) Havican.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Paul Havican on May 30, 2003.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 13,2024 at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave Waukesha at 2:00 PM, Please meet at the cemetery office. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gerald’s name are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the VA Medical Center for the wonderful care Gerald received.
