Bruce A. Knutson, age 73, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. He was born in Waukesha on September 27, 1952 to Delbert A. Knutson Sr. and Rita L. Knutson (née Koep). Bruce was a master electrician he loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family. Bruce will be remembered as great provider for the family he worked hard but always had time for his family.
Bruce loved bringing family and friends up to the Northwoods of Wisconsin to share in the peace, beauty, and adventure of cabin life. A gifted cook with a notable and infectious laugh, Bruce had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at home.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Jodi F. Knutson (née Finn) and their three children, Wendy Knutson, Heidi Knutson-Siemers, Bruce (Kristine) Knutson, Jr; grandchildren Zachery Siemers, Aksel and Annika Knutson and great-grandson Owen Siemers. He is further survived by his sisters, Connie Nyman and Annie Knutson-Ruhnke, sister-in-law Mary Ankomeus, nieces Heather Knutson and Debbie Zitzke and shared a special bond with his nephew Delbert A. Knutson III. Bruce will also be missed by his loyal dachshund Frankie who will miss sitting on his lap.
In addition to his parent’s he was preceded in death by his brother Delbert A. Knutson Jr. brothers-in-law Dennis Nyman and Greg Ruhnke, nieces Cathie Nyman and Susie Knutson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha from 10:00 AM until the12:00 PM funeral service. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Stroke Association (https://www.stroke.org/en/) and the National Resources Foundation of Wisconsin (https://www.wisconservation.org/).
