Gerald E. Dietzman, 80, born October 28th, 1944 and passed on February 22, 2025, the son of James and Dorothy Dietzman.
Always known as Jerry, he was a loving husband to Karen for nearly 23 years. A dad to Tammy, step-dad to David, Carrie and Christina and papa to Devon and Isiah.
He is also survived by a brother Jim (Pauline) of WI, as well as some awesome nieces and nephews, Ken, Rob, Kathy, Paul, Josh and Paulette.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Sandy and a brother, Eddie.
Jerry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, papa, and friend to many. He was noted for his sense of humor, great smile, his big heart and big hugs.
Jerry worked for 39 years at K&K Well Drilling. When he retired, he honed his skills in woodworking and loved to travel.
Jerry and Karen are members at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Sandwich with a loving church family.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with pastor Kaul officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry has requested donations on his behalf be directed to Pavilion on Main, where the staff loved and cared for him; or to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Sandwich.
