Gerald "Jerry" Griebe Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” Griebe Jr., age 67, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital of Marion.
Jerry was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Gerald Griebe Sr. and Bonnie (Phipps) Griebe. He will be remembered for his generous heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Griebe; his siblings, Faye Baker and her husband Glenn, Robert Griebe, Mary Griebe- Samples, Michelle Spann, Nancy Cato and her husband Norman, and Dawn Griebe. Jerry also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews who will forever cherish his memory.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. All services will be private in keeping with Jerry’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
