Gerald "Jerry" Kendall passed away July 6, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 14, 1936. He graduated from Bentley High School and continued on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
Jerry was married to Marguerite on June 20, 1970. They were married 54 years.
He worked as a shuttle driver for Airlines Parking. He enjoyed travel and sports. He was also actively involved in amateur boxing, won numerous trophies, including Golden Gloves, and went on to coach boxing students for the city of Dearborn and for Sports Weekend.
Jerry is survived by wife Marguerite, daughter Kathleen, son Kevin, granddaughter Erin, grandson John Paul, great granddaughter Evelyn, great grandsons Joseph and Jaxxon, sister Nancy, nieces Janet, Patricia, and Eileen, and nephews Scott and Mark, and other family and friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by sister, Jane and brother, Wayne.
Visitation for Jerry will be held Monday, July 8th from 2:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
