Gerald L. Kluck, 86 of Wittenberg, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at the House of Dove Hospice by Compassus.
Gerald was born on January 8th,1939 in Kempster, WI to the late Leonard and Elgenia (Tomski) Kluck. He was born at the house of his grandparents, John and Kathryn Tomski. Gerald grew up in Hatley, WI and was a graduate of D.C.Everest High School class of 1957.
He married Lonna Onesti on August 31,1963 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tigerton, WI. Together they shared 62 years and were blessed with 8 children. They spent many winters as snowbirds in Arizona. Gerald was a farmer and a truck driver for most of his working life. He volunteered for many years with the Future Farmers of America Alumni. Gerald enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and playing cards with his buddies. He loved to have people visiting him and could banter with the best of them. If there was a deal to be had, you wanted Jerry on your side of the negotiations! He had a great mind for math and imparted to his children the importance of getting good grades, working hard and saving money.
Survivors include his wife, Lonna; 8 children: Rory (Jane) Kluck, Clare (Mike) Ramuta, Kurt (Paulette) Kluck, Roxann (Dave) Barrow, Trina Kluck, Aaron (Michelle) Kluck, Andrew (Tanya) Kluck, and Michael (Brenda) Kluck; 15 grandchildren: Julia, John, Sara, Randi (Matt), Spencer, Briana (Garth), Jacob (Audra), Alex, Sam, Connor, Sophie, Stella, Logan, Lane, Emmalyn, and one stepgrandchild, Nicole (Justin); 3 great grandchildren: Emree, Sienna, and Vera; and 3 step great grandchildren, Bryce, Brett, and Whitley. Further surviving is his sister, Kay (Bill) Karschney, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Rachel Kluck, Leone Onesti, Janifer Empereur, Patricia (Wayne) Kautz, Veronica (Brad) Grunniwaldt, Andrea (Christopher) Gunderson, Mark (Pam) Onesti, Valerie Kulas, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, William and Agnes Onesti, brother, Thomas Kluck, brothers-in-law, David Onesti, Tony Empereur, Jeff Kulas, and Jay Schaffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Holy Family-St. William Catholic Church in Wittenberg. Rev. Mark Rydell will officiate. Visitation will be at the Church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
