Gerald J. “Reb” Mand, 80, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 20, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in St. Peter on October 5, 1943, to Joseph and Alvina (Schneider) Mand. 

 

Reb was known for his humor and will be remembered for being an ambitious and determined man. He enjoyed spending time watching sports, whether it be the Badgers, Bucks, or Packers. Reb was a Carman for the Soo Line Railroad and would later become a skilled carpenter. Most of all he loved his grandchildren. 

 

Survivors include his two children, Ami Jo Mand and Barrett (Tamra) Mand; two grandchildren, Jessica, and Nathan Trexell; two step-grandchildren, Makenna, and Holden Ebel; two sisters, Diane (Harold) Habaak and Donna Shepro; a brother, Peter Mand (Paula); and family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Roger Mand; and a brother-in-law, Donald Shepro.     

 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at St. Peter Church, N8079 Church Rd., in Malone, WI, 53049. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with inurnment in the parish cemetery to follow. Cremation has taken place.

 

In honor of Reb, please consider wearing your Green Bay Packers best if attending the visitation and/or service.
