Kathleen Jane (Michler) Bell, age 78, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, entered her Savior’s arms on November 16, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1947, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to the late Bernice and Richard Michler. Kathy grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in 1965. On July 22, 1967, she married the love of her life, Bruce Bell, and together they were blessed with two children, Pamela and Christopher. Kathy and Bruce both began their careers with Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, and their work led them to Stillwater, Oklahoma, where they built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. While raising two young children and working full-time, Kathy impressively earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Information Technology and Human Resources, with honors from Oklahoma State University.
Kathy went on to build an extraordinary 26-year career in technology leadership at Sabre/American Airlines and EDS/HP in Tulsa, Oklahoma, earning numerous national awards and certifications. She led Project Management teams supporting the transportation industry and was admired by senior leadership, colleagues, and team members for her steady leadership, execution, and her heart for people. A lifelong Christ follower, first welcomed into the Lord’s kingdom through Holy Baptism on August 3, 1947, Kathy was a devoted and joyful servant at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Tulsa. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and shaped her kindness, humility, and deep compassion for others.
Kathy found joy in quilting, cherishing time with her grandchildren, caring for her grand-dogs, and jumping into any project that let her lend her problem-solving talents. She and Bruce shared a love of traveling the world, a passion Kathy continued with courage and gratitude after his passing.
Kathy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Bell; her parents, Bernice and Richard Michler; and her brother-in-law, Rick Roloff. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Bell) Gates, and husband Mark, and their sons Ryan and Collin; and by her son, Chris Bell, along with his son Adam Price, Adam’s wife Cara, and their children Kipp and Tate.
She is also survived by her loving siblings Judy (Dave) Priebe, Grace (Rob) Garritano, Nancy Roloff, Charlie Michler, and Sally (Dan) Grimmer. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kay (Bell) Woehrer, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and cherished friends.
