Gerald McFadden Obituary
Born in Wilmerding, PA, he was a son of the late Francis X. and Sophia A. (Nicholas) McFadden. He served honorably in the US Navy and was a 23-year member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where he served as an usher.
Surviving Gerald in addition to his wife of 62 years, Adella are 2 sons: Michael McFadden of Davidson, NC, Daniel McFadden and his wife Nancy of Colorado Springs, CO; 1 daughter, Melissa R. Petrone and her husband Anthony of Colorado Springs, CO; 9 grandchildren: Michael McFadden,Jr. and his wife Gayle, Megan, Summer and Bryce McFadden, Kelly, Sydney and Madison Petrone, Andrea Murray and her husband Kevin and Daniel McCabe; 4 great grandchildren: Lennox McFadden, Beatrix McFadden, Felix McFadden Jr.-Hazard, Iris Murray and 1 sister, Catherine Stillio of North Versailles, PA.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December1, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with inurnment to follow at the church columbarium. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gerald's name to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave., Murrells Inlet, SC 20576 or the charity of one's choice.
