Gerald (Jerry) Lee Mosley, age 95, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 2, 2023. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 15, 1927 to John Robert Mosley and Lillian Kroenke Mosley. His greatest pride was his family. He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Dottie) Kolb Mosley. He is survived by three children: Scott Dana Mosley of Little Rock and his wife, Sharon, Robin Mosley Christ of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and her husband, Randy, and David Lee Mosley of Fayetteville, Arkansas and his wife, Sue. He has three grandchildren: Daniel Austin Christ and his wife, Amy, Dayna Leigh Mosley, and Caroline Elizabeth Christ and her husband, James Nathaniel Salley. He has one great grandson: Benjamin Allen Christ.
Jerry was a WWII veteran, serving throughout the South Pacific with the Naval Air Corps as a radio airman and a combat air crewman. He flew missions to China, Guam, Japan, Wake, Midway, Johnson, and Quajaline. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Journalism. He held executive communications positions with several major regional and national companies, the most recent being the Olin Corporation. In his retirement, he was a volunteer for the American Red Cross - Greater Arkansas Chapter, where he transported blood products to hospitals all around the state. For many years, he was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Robert Moore Bible Class.
A graveside service is planned for Monday January 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Forest Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
