Gerald Pennings Obituary

After graduating from Kimberly High in 1956, Gerald entered the Air Force, where he honorably served his country until 1961. During his service Gerald met the love of his life, Grace Baeten, in 1955. The couple married in Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1958, a partnership that would flourish over the next 67 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace, and their children: Mark Pennings, Rebecca and Craig Strutz, Luke and Judy Pennings, Matt Pennings, and John and Jill Pennings. Gerald is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, and a grandson.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday September 10th from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Harmony Methodist Church (Co Hwy DD, Peshtigo, WI 54157) with Pastor Nathan Reed officiating. Burial will take place immediately following at Harmony Cemetery with military honors. In Lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established. The Family would like to thank Unity hospice, Aurora Bay Area and Pastor Reed for their kindness
