A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 4800 S.84th St. Greenfield, WI 53228.
Gerald "Gerry" W. Pollen of Greenfield passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1940 in Manitowoc, WI the second son of William and Alice (Rappel) Pollen. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, WI in 1958 where he met and married Elizabeth Kaderabek in 1959. Gerry went on to graduate with a bachelors degree in Business Administration at the UW – Madison in 1963. He worked his entire career at Ladish, Inc as a accountant until retiring in 1997. He is survived by his devoted, long term partner Suzi Gambetta; four sons – Greg (Tammy) of New Berlin, WI, Thomas (Susan) of Hales Corners, WI, Douglas (Denise) of Greenfield, WI and Scott (Andrea) of Belleville, WI; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Alice and his brother Ronald.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 3:00pm-5:00pm Friday, March 14, 2025 at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield, WI 53228. Followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm.
Gerry was an avid outdoorsman and taught his boys how to hunt and fish. Later in life he volunteered at the Wehr Nature Center and took many trips to Horicon National Refuge to view wildlife with his partner in crime Suzi. He also took several fishing trips to Canada and liked to travel the Western US especially to Arizona.
