Gerald Proudfoot Obituary

Akron, Ohio. He was a 1972 graduate of Carrollton High School, Carrollton, Ohio. He was
proceeded in death by his wife Karen Page Proudfoot, his parents Gerald E. Proudfoot and
Romaine Rae (Skidmore) Proudfoot, two sisters Roseanne Francis, Linda Finefrock, two brothers
Michael P. Proudfoot and William A. Proudfoot.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Mike) Sutherland of Findlay, Ohio. Their children Jordin
(Zach) Maria, Ethan (Olivia) Bednar, Alexis (Logan Goble) Sutherland, Kayla (Erin) McCullough,
and Josh (Marissa) Sutherland. He is also survived by his son, Corey Proudfoot of
Mechanicstown, Ohio and his children Maria Proudfoot, Dominic Benovic, and step son Dustin
Juszli.
He is also survived by a step daughter Tricia (Adam) Quinn, step sons Thomas Mcdonald, and
Josh Mcdonald (deceased). Great grandchildren are Jaden, Oliver, Wyatt, Evan, Emma, Eric, and
Elvis. Also survived by his siblings, Ralph Proudfoot, Carolyn Linton, Donna (Samuel) Witte,
James (Jean) Proudfoot, Joyce (Penny) (Scott) Postelwait, David (Renee) Proudfoot, and Barb
(Daryl) Walton, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday November 15, 2025 at 12 noon at the Clinton
Church of Nazareen: 2850 Hickory St. Clinton, Ohio followed by a dinner
