Gerald Leroy Sack, lovingly known as Gary, passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born on October 8, 1954, at Mercy Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and spent most of his life in Westminster, Colorado, surrounded by the people and places he cherished.
Gary grew up on a farm, where he and his brothers learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and family. Those early years shaped him deeply— whether it was tending to chores, caring for animals, or simply being together, the farm remained a defining part of who he was.
As a young man, Gary worked alongside his brother at Anderson Beef, cutting meat and building a strong work ethic that carried him through life. He later dedicated more than 30 years to working as a maintenance man for an apartment complex, where his reliability, skill, and kindness made a lasting impact on many.
In his teenage years, Gary embraced adventure as a bull rider, a testament to his courage and spirited nature. He also loved fishing, finding peace and joy in the quiet moments by the water.
Above all, Gary was a family man. He treasured time spent with his loved ones and found his greatest purpose in caring for those around him. He lived with his mother for many years, and the two shared a bond built on mutual care, devotion, and companionship.
Gary is survived by his brother George Junior and his sister Sharon, who will forever hold his memory close.
He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his dedication to family, and the steady presence he brought into every room. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.
