It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald James Schroeder, who departed this life on January 14, 2026, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, at the age of 86. Born on April 7, 1939, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Gerald was a devoted husband, father, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
Gerald dedicated his career to the distribution industry, working diligently in the warehouse sector, where his strong work ethic and commitment were admired by many. Though he had no formal college degree, his knowledge and experience carried a wisdom that was invaluable to his colleagues and family alike.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Schroeder, his son Scott Schroeder and his cherished daughter, Renee Schroeder. Gerald's family was the center of his life, and he took great joy in sharing special moments and creating lasting memories together. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Agnes Schroeder.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 21, 2026, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 9303 S Chicago Rd, Oak Creek at 11:00 AM, where friends and family are invited to celebrate Gerald's life and the love he bestowed upon those around him.
