Gerald Martin Timpe passed away on May 4, 2024, in Spring, Texas. Jerry was born on March 12, 1940, in St. Louis, MO to the late Clarence and Laura (Erzinger) Timpe. He was the younger brother of Robert (Bob) Timpe.
Jerry grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his degree in Chemistry with a minor in Math and Physics from SIU in 1962. While in college he met his wife Helen Ann (Wiesler) during gym class. They were married on June 16, 1962. Jerry is survived by his wonderful wife of almost 62 years Helen, their children John Timpe, Elizabeth Lang (Mike Lang) and Julie Pruitt (Robbie Pruitt.) He is survived by his 2 beloved grandsons Austin Baker and Brandon Lang and his nieces and nephews.
Jerry had a full life. He owned his own business in the medical equipment manufacturing industry from 1981 until his retirement. In retirement Jerry and Helen traveled to many places throughout the USA and Europe. When he was younger, he enjoyed tennis and eventually transitioned to golf. He enjoyed spending his spare time with his family and friends, tinkering on his computer or doing projects around the house.
He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his great sense of humor. We know he is in heaven debating politics with his brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Community in the Mary Chapel. 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, TX 77070.
