The world became less bright on January 20th, 2026, with the passing of Gerald E. Trumper (Gerry) at the age of 49. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 25th, 1976, beloved son of Teresa Trumper and Donald Trumper, Jr.
Gerry was a devoted loving father, a warm and supportive brother, an extraordinary uncle, and a loyal friend to many.
He had a rare gift of showing up with kindness, steadiness, and a genuine care that made people feel seen and valued. The love he gave so freely lives on in the countless lives he touched, and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to call him family or friend.
Gerry dedicated more than 25 years to his profession where he worked at premier hotels on and off the Las Vegas Strip. Gerry was a director of engineering for several companies and his career lead him to distinguished properties across states including Nevada, Texas, and New Mexico. He was renowned for his exceptional work ethic, technical expertise, and leadership rooted in diligence, integrity, and compassion.
Colleagues and friends alike knew they could always count on Gerry; his presence alone could brighten any room, and he left a lasting impression wherever he went. He was, simply put, a great soul.
Gerry enjoyed riding his Harley, cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Rams as a diehard fan, watching motocross and NASCAR, and attending live music concerts. Golfing was one of his favorite pastimes as he spent quality time with treasured family and friends.
Every moment spent with Gerry was cherished whether he was sharing his love of Disney, sharing quotes from his favorite movies, or simply being in his presence.
Gerry was diagnosed with cancer and fought bravely with strength and unwavering courage.
"A great soul
serves everyone
all the time.
A great soul
never dies.
It brings us together
again and again."
"Bikers never truly die, they just ride the clouds instead"

Gerry's light may have dimmed here, but the warmth, laughter, and love he shared will shine on forever. Rest easy Gerry - ride free among the clouds.
