Gerald Matthew Trussel

Gerald (Jerry) Matthew Trussel resident of Delray Beach, Florida, was born on July 5th, 1925 and died on July 4th, 2025. Jerry grew up in Lawrence, NY and was the son of Henry and Mildred Trussel.
Jerry was an orthodontist by trade and a fisherman at heart. He was a WWII Navy veteran, saxophone player, and was active throughout his life enjoying skiing, scuba diving, fishing, and running. He had a generous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Jerry was well loved by his family, friends, and patients. Jerry always had a funny story to tell or memory to share.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Joanna, son Jonathan, sister Helene, brother-in-law Hy, and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Philip, brother Howard (spouse Margie) Trussel, brother Stanley (wife Faye) Trussel, and sister Dorothy (spouse Sam) Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach on Tuesday, July 8th at 12:30pm followed by the burial at the Veteran's cemetery located at 6501 FL-7 (441) Lake Worth.
