Geraldine Allen Bennett, 85, of Stockton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 13, 1940, in Lakeland, Georgia, to the late Hansel Allen and Lela Moore Allen. Geraldine was a woman of remarkable creativity, blessed with a natural eye for beauty and detail. She had a special gift for decorating, whether arranging flowers, crafting unique necklaces, or transforming the simplest items into something meaningful and beautiful.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cauley Bennett; her daughter, Debbie Studstill; her grandson, Ronnie Solomon, Jr and her sisters: Bernice Conine and Hazel Scarborough.
She is survived by her children: Ronnie Solomon (Donna) of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, Lynn Kent of Lakeland, Georgia and Wendy Bennett of Stockton, Georgia; grandchildren: Tracy Attrix (Gil), Stephanie Solomon, Jordan Kent, Brandon Creamer and Christopher Studstill; great grandchildren: Jarren, Jemma, Alyssa, Aubrey and Ronnie Solomon III; siblings: Peggy Cannon of Ray City, Georgia and Virginia Mathis of Homerville, Georgia; special nieces: Diane Chambliss and Nita Strickland; numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family members; special friends: Mildred Koscianski, Dorothy Bennett, Vicki Howell and Chris Bennett; special sitters: Kathy Eaton and Necie Yeomans.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the funeral home. The Bennett family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
