Geraldine M. Bernstein, of Millville, NJ, a cherished soul and dedicated professional sadly passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 84.
Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis Quinter and Jenny (née Rudy) Petro.
Geraldine dedicated her career to the Nursing Home industry, where she served with distinction as a Purchasing Agent Manager. In this role, she was not merely a facilitator of needs; she was a steadfast advocate for quality care. Her attention to detail and unwavering commitment improved the lives of countless residents, ensuring they received not only necessities but the finest comforts possible.
Geraldine was the loving mother of Robert C. Bernstein, Jr. (Amy), James Bernstein (Liz), Michael Bernstein (Kirsti), and Susan Reichard (Eric). She was the devoted and caring grandmother of Emily Ricci, Amanda Gale (John), William Ricci, Christopher Bernstein, Robert Ricci (Paige), Michael Bernstein (Hannah), John Bernstein, Paul Bernstein, Tessa Bernstein, Madeline Bernstein, Grace Ricci, and Bo Bernstein, and the great-grandmother of Janie Ricci. Geraldine is also survived by her sisters, Marie Tevis (the late Joseph), Dee Vance (Jesse), and many nieces and nephews. Geraldine was predeceased by her son, Gerald Bernstein, her siblings, Francis, Kathy, and Mary Jane, and former husband, Robert C. Bernstein, Sr.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her memory on Friday, June 13, 2025 at a Visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment private.
