Geraldine Rose Carlington

On May 2, 2023 Geraldine Rose Carlington of Westland, Michigan passed away peacefully in her home. She was born September 11, 1932 to the late John Wade and Anna Rose Wade in Inkster, Michigan. For 36 wonderful years was a beloved wife to the late Ernest Carlington. A loving mother to Daughter Terry (David) Lamanen, Son, Eric Carlington and Step-daughter, Sherry (Brian) Beach. A cherished grandmother to Trisha (Andy) Kowalski, Chad (Michelle) Gaines, Brandon Carlington, Katelyn (Nicholas) Van Proeyen, Nicholas (Codee) Tiano, and Ashley (Justin) Murphy. Dear great-grandmother to Samantha, Hannah, Shelby, Kylie, Dylan and Ally. Adored great-great grandmother to Rylin, Oliver and Dani. Precious sister to Raymond (The late Cathy) Wade and Ruth (The late James) Webb. She is preceded in death by Step-son, Terry Ernest Carlington, Step-daughter, Nancy Tiano, Brother, Julian Jade, Brother, Anthony Wade, Sister, Lillian Bacalia, Brother, John Robert Wade, Brother, Richard Wade Sr., Brother, James Wade, and Brother, Gerald Wade.
The most important thing in Gearldine's life was her family. She loved unconditionally, being the core of the family, she never missed any function or special occasion. She cherished her time spent with family and loved spoiling her grandchildren, great-grand children and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, and loved spending time with her friends. She also loved gardening, especially flowers and plants.
Geraldine kept a busy schedule, stayed active and involved which resulted in so many loving memories through out the years. She will be so dearly missed by all those who loved her.
