Geraldine "Geri" (Broady) Spirito

76, of Marne St., Johnston, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at RI Hospital in Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 53 years of Francis “Frank” Spirito. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius “Neil” and Eleanor (Gallo) Broady, Sr.

Besides her husband Frank, she was the devoted mother of Christina M. Carpentieri of Myrtle Beach, SC and Marissa M. Spirito of Johnston; cherished grandmother of Giana M. Garcia, Mario C. Carpentieri and Alexis M. Ratte; loving great-grandmother of Raevyn Claire Garcia; and dear sister of Neil Broady, Jr. of Coventry, Debbie Broady of Johnston, Betty Ann Silvaggio of Johnston; Robin Santos of Coventry, Albert Broady of Westerly, Dawn Santos of Warwick and the late Ronald Broady and James Broady.

Geri worked at F.M. Global in the accounting office for many years before retiring.

She was a loving and kindhearted woman who always put her family needs before her own. She gave her love freely and made sure we all knew how deeply she loved us.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at 10 a.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Inurnment will take place at a later date. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday, October 22nd from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
