Geraldine "Jerry" Bryant Holladay, 82, widow of James "Jimmy" W. Holladay, Sr., passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Born November 18, 1943, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late James Ernest Bryant and the late Lizzie Jane Hickman Bryant. She was a member of Graham Baptist Church and retired from Hodge Trucking Company. She loved to read and spend time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin H. Watson (Burke) of Sumter; a son, James "Jamie" W. Holladay, Jr. (Rene) of Sumter; five grandchildren, Brianna Gibson (Blair), Will Watson, Mary Grace Watson, Trey Holladay (Ellie), and Emily Holladay; three great grandchildren, Hope Holladay Gibson, Luke Pope Gibson, and Emma Kathryn Gibson; and a sister, Nell Heins of Mt. Pleasant.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carlisle Bryant; and three sisters, Cornelia McFadden, Virginia McNeill, and Jane Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Friday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Blair Gibson.

Pallbearers will be Trey Holladay, Will Watson, Scott Spivey, Jay Hodge, Troy Hodge, and Ernie Heins.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Burke and Robin Watson, 3325 Gristmill Lane, Sumter.

The family would like to express their appreciation to caregivers, Ethel Cabbagestalk, the staff of Healthy Living Senior Care especially Shaniqua Briggs, Alvajah Clark and April Funderburke, and the staff of Caris Hospice especially Quionda Dickerson, Irma McConico, and Brittany Braxton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Graham Baptist Church, 4000 Hwy 521 S., Sumter, SC 29153.
