Geraldine Jacobs went home to be with Lord February 16,2023. She was born on February 28, 1939 in Manassas, Georgia born to John and Ella Mincey. She was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph Jacobs. She was a member of Greater St. John Church of God in Christ where she was also a member of the Mother's Board.
She worked for Toledo Public Schools as a Bus Driver for 19 years and was a member of various social groups. After she retired she became a Daycare provider and part of the Volunteer Grandparents program.
She was proceeded in death by her Father John H. Mincey and Mother Ella Mincey, husband Joseph Jacobs, and special friend Robert E. Butler, daughter Lillian (Angel) Jacobs and sister Ruthie Mae Edwards.
She is survived by sons Donald H Mincey, Ricky L. Jacobs, Gerald F. Jacobs and daughters Josie (Calvin) Webster and Gail (Scott) Smithson, siblings Betty Smith, John H Mincey Jr., and Barbara Costen. 9 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
