Geraldine Mooney Obituary
Geraldine B. Mooney, 84, wife of the late William Donald Mooney, died on June 5, 2025. Born in Crawford, GA, she was the daughter of the late Emory Lee Brown and Mary Edell Barber Brown. Mrs. Mooney was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church and retired from UGA building services. Survivors include her children: Lee (Wanda) Mooney, Lisa Chancey and Shirley (Tim) Jordan; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Friday night. Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST, Athens, GA is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
