Nell Carnes Obituary
Nell Jacoba Carnes, 93, of Athens passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on March 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Henry Oosthoek and Jennie Cook.
Nell enjoyed working in the health field. She obtained her first degree in PE & health at Richmond College and eventually progressed into the nursing home health field.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Hebriena Oosthoek, Christina Ecdam, Henry Oosthoek, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Hermie Groot and numerous nieces and nephews.
