Geraldine Sanders

Geraldine Sanders, born on Christmas Day in 1954, in Marion County, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 3, 2025, at her home in Marion County. She was 70 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sanders Sr.; her devoted parents, George and Mary Cornita Miller; her sisters Patricia Cowherd and Alice Edelen; and her brothers Michael, George B., George N. and Ronald Miller.

Geraldine was a woman of strength, faithfulness, and heart. She held various positions throughout her career-from Springview Hospital to Curtis Maruyasu America to Morton Custom Plastics-serving with dedication and integrity until she could no longer fulfill her duties. Her work ethic reflected her character: steady, loyal, and full of grace.

But Geraldine's truest calling was family. Her love for them was second to none. Her home was a sanctuary of joy, where a simple visit could turn into a cherished memory. If you stopped by, you were greeted with a smile, a warm hug, and likely a Facebook post that began, "I had the best day today." Whether you were kin or not, by the time you left, you felt like family.

She was the heartbeat of her loved ones-a fierce supporter, an ever-present encourager, and a proud witness to every accomplishment. Her most treasured moments were spent with her son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, soaking in the joy of togetherness and pouring out love that will echo for generations.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory her son Rick (Shelia) Sanders; her lifelong partner who cared for her until her passing James Johnson; sister Mary Walker; brother Terry (Debra) Miller; brother n law William (Big Man) Sanders; sister n law Mary Miller; grandchildren Taron and Shamia Sanders, Shatonna and Lance Calbert, ; great-grandchildren Chantell Calbert, Prosper Sanders and Da'mya Conner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave us all will remain everlasting.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, November 09, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home. Interment to follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
