Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, George William Evans; son, William Hagan "Bill" Evans; siblings, Colleen Whitlock; James A. Dye and Robert L. "Bobby" Dye. Survivors include her daughters, Burma Medley (Jimmy, deceased) and Georgeann Burton (Earl); son, James Glenn Evans; daughter-in-law, Cindy Evans; grandchildren, Kathy Braden (Artie); Carrie Barber Jewkes, Houston Barber (Darra), Joshua Evans (Haley) and Rebecca Evans Veech (Colby).
Additional survivors include twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment immediately following at St. Augustine Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home.
A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held at the parish center following interment.
