Geraldine Spry Obituary
She was born September 22, 1945 in Dunlow, WV the daughter of the late Everett Wallace and Ethel Porter Marcum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Henery C. Marcum, husband, Curtis Spry one brother, Charles Wallace, two sisters, Edna Mae and Mary Lee Marcum, one very special nephew, Roger Lee Crum, a host of other special nephews and her father and mother-in-law, Ed and Opal Spry.
Geraldine enjoyed working in the garden, root digging, spending time with her family and she really enjoyed golfing.
Those left to cherish her memory two daughters, Ethel Marie Marcum of Twelve Pole and Connie (Dale) Gore of Harts; one son, Curtis Spry Jr of Twelve Pole; one sister, Imogene Crum of Twelve Pole; one brother, Rufus (Lillie Mae) Wallace of Twelve Pole; five grandchildren, Christopher Marcum of Chapmanville, Shane Marcum of Twelve Pole, Brittany Frye of Harts, Ricky Joe Frye of Huntington and Curtis Spry III (Trey) of Harts; six great grandchildren, Jazmine Marcum of Dingess, Levi and Kyra Dobbs of Harts, Paisley and Hayden Marcum of South Carolina and Bryce Marcum of Dingess; special friend, Paul Flynn of Chapmanville; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
