Geraldine Theresa "Jeri" Victorino, lovingly known to many as Merna, passed away suddenly and peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born on March 13, 1954, in
San Bernardino, California, and spent the last several decades of her life in
Tehachapi, California, a place she proudly called home.
Jeri was the devoted wife of Ernest Victorino, the love of her life. Their 30-year marriage was built on deep love, loyalty, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Together they shared countless memories, supported one another through life's challenges, and created a home filled with warmth and family. Their bond was strong, enduring, and evident to all who knew them.
She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Charles Weis, Paul (Christine) Weis, Michael (Leslie) Weis, and Greg (Joanne) Cook.
She was a loving and dedicated mother to Amy (Eddie) Steers, Stacey (Shannon) Sasser, Alex Victorino, and Nikki (Tony) Kasch.
Jeri's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved fiercely.
She is survived by her cherished grandchildren: Kyler Sasser, Dakota Sasser, Colin Sasser, Andrew Sasser, Kamy Sasser, Brynlee Sasser, Hudson Sasser, Titan Sasser, and Stanley Sasser; Rachelle (Jacob) Knight, Blake Cannedy, McKenna (Kyle) Reyes, Michael Steers, Krystal Steers, Nolan Kasch, Ethan Kasch, Mikaelyn Victorino, Lucas Victorino, Kadyn Victorino, and Giovanni Victorino.
She was also a proud great-grandmother to Cohen Knight, Kolt Newlen, Lane Reyes, and Morgan Sasser, along with numerous bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.
Jeri is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Jacobs, her father Marcellas Weis, and her stepfather Douglas Jacobs. Jeri is now reunited in heaven with her Lord and Savior and those who went before her.
Jeri was kind, loving, brave, and had a heart that knew no strangers. She welcomed everyone with warmth and made people feel instantly at home. She loved bingo, beaches, casinos, music, cruises, and hot rods, and she lived life with joy and gratitude. Strong in her faith, she faced life's challenges with courage, grace, and unwavering love for those around her.
