A REMEMBERANCE

"Bob was many men wrapped in one charming, colorful package. Vintner, Pilot

Sailor, Diver, Master Storyteller and the Love of Patty's Life. He enriched the lives

of his many Friends. He will be missed but remembered fondly. A living presence

in the Minds of all who knew him."

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Robert {Bobby) J. Souza Sr.

transitioned out of this life on March 10, 2026. Bob was born on May 7th

, 1940 in

Medford, Massachusetts, a son of William and Helen Souza.

Through his journey of 85 years, he touched many lives with his wisdom, epic

stories, humor, kindness and love.

Bob lived his life to the fullest, he was known for trying new things and learning

how to do them. He was a very successful and Award-Winning Allstate Insurance

Agent. He proudly served as an Operations Officer, Deputy Commander for

Cadets and Commander Advisor for Civil Air Patrol Squadron 46 in Tehachapi, CA.

and was known for his Leadership and Service and giving flights to many cadets in

his Piper Cherokee.

A man of many passions, he was an accomplished Deep Sea Diver, an Avid Sailor,

a Pilot with well over 1000 recorded hours and a skilled Horseman and Cowboy

who deeply loved the Western Lifestyle.

Among the many milestones of his well-lived life, Bob marked the year 1990 with

immense pride. He and Patty purchased the Historic Stowell home and turned it

into Souza Family Ranch in Tehachapi, Ca. After years of hard work, they embarked

on a wine journey starting the first commercial vineyard in Tehachapi, Ca. In 2003

"Souza Family Vineyard" was born. After winning numerous wine awards. Gold,

Silver & Bronze, it was clear that Bob "The Wine Guy" and Patty had succeeded-'in

what most said was the impossible.

His biggest achievement was his Loving family. He leaves behind his Best Friend & wife, Patty,

brother Tom (Patty), his "Boys" Bob Jr. {Lori}, Mike (Jacqueline}, Ken (Jenn), Steve (Krystie}, &

those who he proudly raised as his own, Brian (Rowena}, Tammy (Andrew}, 11 Grand Kids & 10 Great

Grand Kids.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two of his brothers Bill and Chris.

He will be greatly missed and Forever Remembered.

Bob's Exceptional Life will be celebrated on June 2026. 12 noon.
